Our Spelt Sourdough Wins Gold At Irish Food Awards

The Breadski Brothers are delighted to announce that we have won the Gold Award at the Irish Quality Food and Drinks Awards. Our Spelt Sourdough Cob ‘The Green One’ took home the award for Best Specialty Bread

It is a light and airy cob with a proper sourdough crust that manages to be substantial without being excessively chewy. The judges laded this loaf as “considerably better” than commercially produced alternatives.

It has been made by hand, with love and time, which is what great sourdough needs. It is a healthy option for the modern, health conscious family. Sourdough works with the body being easier to digest and less likely to spike your blood sugar.

The Quality Food Awards are the most prestigious awards for food and drink products; recognising and celebrating the best in retail food products on sale in Irish grocery outlets.
